About

David Baillie is a freelance writer and artist.

Born a wee bit more than thirty years ago in Scotland, he now lives and works in the East End of London.

He runs five times a week and eats well.

His comics work has appeared in 2000AD, Judge Dredd Megazine, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Tripwire, Redeye, Comics International, Zombies, Robots and a dozen other fabulous places.

His screenwriting has recently been nominated for a BAFTA/Rocliffe Award and shortlisted for the hotly-contested Red Planet Prize and the BBC Scotland Writes Drama Competition. He is currently working with Ragdoll Productions.

Earlier this year he spent a month as the artist in residence at firstsite in Colchester. Exhibitions of his art have been mounted in London, Edinburgh, Paris and Oxford.

He is available for illustration, design and writing projects of any size, in and out of comics.

He can be found on both Twitter and Facebook.
